“On the Rocks”

Not your average glamping experience. This geodesic dome has it all— full kitchen & bath, heat & air.

With no deck surrounding the window of the dome, our design simulates floating up at a height of about 14 feet above the forest floor below. Sitting on the deck or at the fire pit area, you can hear the creek babbling. Take a walk through the woods; you've got 10 acres to explore.

You are truly out in nature here at 4Creeks Cabin Co.

About This Space

  • This dome has it all! You will drive right up beside the dome and park next to the fire pit area to easily unload your belongings. On the deck, you’ll find outdoor seating, a gas grill, and space to hang out in nature and listen to the creek below. The fire pit area with outdoor seating and Breeo brand smokeless fire pit is just steps away. Bring your hammocks to string out or pay a small fee to borrow some!

Inside, you’ll be greeted with the giant, 20-ft window overlooking the forest. The living area has a couch and two chairs, an electric fireplace, and dining area for 4. The coffee bar is in the living area and features a tool cart stocked with all your coffee and tea needs. For coffee, you can choose from keurig or make a whole pot. Inside the cart you’ll find glasses, including wine glasses, on the left and a microwave on the right.

On the right upon entering, you’ll find the full kitchen equipped with full-sized refrigerator, electric oven/stove, sink with separate filtered water spigot, top-loading dishwasher, plenty of pots and pans, cooking essentials, toaster, blender, and more! This kitchen is stocked by someone who loves to cook!

In the middle of the dome, there is a wall that partitions the master bedroom and bathroom (over which lives the loft!) from the main living space and kitchen.

The master bedroom features a California King sized, green tea infused memory foam mattress bed with its own electric fireplace, plenty of outlets for charging your electronics, a 32” ROKU TV, places to hang your clothes (coat hangers provided) and fold-out luggage racks with storage. The linens are provided as are extra blankets if you need a little something more than the fluffy duvet!

The bathroom features a spacious 3’ x 4’ shower with sliding door, a vanity with single sink and plenty of counter and drawer space to stash your stuff. Toilet and toilet paper is provided for you. Towels are provided and more are available upon request. You’ll even find essentials available for your use in case you forgot anything for your stay.

In the living area you will find a ships ladder to take you up to the loft where you will find a queen sized bed with green tea infused memory foam mattress that is positioned to allow you to star gaze through the skylight, a 32” ROKU TV, and an additional floor seating area that converts in to a twin sized floor mattress (4” memory foam- great for kids). Linens are provided for all sleeping arrangements.

Parking is free and on-site, WiFi is free and available, and the hosts will give you plenty of trip ideas to maximize your vacation. You’re sure to enjoy a stress-free vacation in the forest and be stoked by the quick drive to local restaurants, shops, and attractions.

  • This dome is a private airbnb. You’ll have access to the entire structure except for the utility basement below.

You have approximately 10 acres available to you for exploring. Please abide no trespassing signs which mark the edges of our property.

  • The road leading to the dome is a gravel mountain road. Please plan accordingly and be aware that there will be bumps and rocks to encounter on your drive.

  • The dome does have a mini-split and electric fireplaces as well as an insulated liner. However, it is not insulated like a house would be and does stay cooler than a traditional dwelling. Please plan accordingly and bring warm clothing.

The road to the dome is gravel as mentioned above and can get icy. We try to keep the road scraped as best we can but cannot use salts due to the gravel. We recommend 4WD or AWD. A slower and steady climb up the hill is best (10 MPH and keep going, don't stop) when it's icy. If a neighbor is coming down, they know to pull off and let others come up before they go down! Please also abide by this policy to keep everyone safe.

Our friends at Unseen Pass offer road-worthy side-by-sides and jeeps for rent that may be a great option. Reach out to us for our special friends discount, and ask to have your unit delivered and waiting on you at the dome when you arrive!

At 3800 ft elevation, we get really high winds in the winter and fall. You may not be able to use the firepit due to this, so please just be aware that this is out of our control.

What an incredible stay. 4creekscabinco has thought of everything! They had a welcome s’mores kit, bottle of wine, fresh eggs from their own chickens and freshly homemade sourdough bread made by Emily herself!! The property is beautiful and peaceful. The layout is perfect for a family or 2 couples. The beds were extremely comfortable, you can tell they did not skimp on setting up this place. I’m not a big fan of renting from by corporate places, any questions I had, I just reached out to Emily and she answered all my questions. Highly recommend!! We love this place so much and look forward to spending more time with 4creeks every year in the future!!

Rarely do I take the time to write reviews but this one is simply just too incredible not to share.
What a unique and amazing experience! I decided at the last minute to book something both off the beaten path and out of the usual, ordinary stay. I noticed this curious Geodome in West Jefferson and boy, am I so glad I did.
The owners are fantastic, the structure is beyond beautiful and stocked with everything you could possibly think of and then some. Spa like beds, fully stocked kitchen and the overall feeling of being high in trees with the most extraordinary Mountain View’s make this really difficult to put into a few paragraphs.
This was our family’s annual Christmas tree purchasing weekend so the pressure is always on to top the previous years experience. West Jefferson is the very best kept secret for Christmas trees. Everyone agrees…this is the best year yet thanks to this Geodome treasure tucked in the trees!
We’ve decided to book in Jan. For our annual ski trip.
